Invade Earth network guide

This guide describes how to set up and join a network game in Invade Earth.

Overview

To play a game of Invade Earth over the network, you must connect to a computer that is running the Invade Earth server. Only one player needs to run the server, but every player that wants to play (including the server operator) needs to run the client software.

Starting a server

To launch the Invade Earth server, click the link on the main Invade Earth page (or just click here).

L'Attaque

Smile Kombat Gold

Introduction

Smile Kombat Gold is a remake of the original Smile Kombat, one of the first Smiley Productions games. Like the original, SKG is a two-player game that features Smiley and Frown fighting it out to the end. Various powerups float down encased in bubbles; these include everything from a flamethrower to homing missles. The battle takes place on a series of platforms above a pit, and there are many sets of levels to choose from.

Introduction

Smile Kombat 2 is the sequel to Smile Kombat Gold. It features new graphics, new sounds, and many new levels. Several weapons have been modified, and the ability to duck can add a new dimension to gameplay. Unlike SKG, many levels in Smile Kombat 2 consist of more than just platforms over a pit; these levels can be more forgiving for new players.

Introduction

The sequel to Smile Kombat 2, SK3 introduces new bubbles, bigger levels, and unique attacks for each character. In addition, some levels include hazards: fire erupts from the ground and falls from the sky of the Red Planet, while the Armageddon level has its own Nuke bubble! Finally, Smile Kombat 3 comes with a capture-the-flag mode, which can be played on any level.

Boss 'n' Bonus 2

Introduction

Boss 'n' Bonus 2 pits you against a series of powerful enemies. In each round you play as a character with unique abilities; stomp Jose as Smiley or blast the Funk Meister as Amethyst. You are scored based on how well you beat the boss, and you can get bonus points in the bonus round.

Introduction

In many games, some of the most interesting battles are against the boss enemies; so why not make a game with only bosses? In Boss Battles you must defeat a series of difficult boss enemies. Each fight is harder than the previous one, and it will take a lot of skill to win them all! Two players can join in for twice the fun.
